I have a 2000 V6. How do I remove the steering wheel and put a new one on

 

you will have to remove the air bag first (well fist disconeect the battery.) there should be 2 bolts under little covers take them out and the airbag should come out if not search around and see if there is any thing eles to remove. i havent ever done a 2000 or any new mustang but all steerign wheels remove close to the same way. any way after that you may have a few more little things to take loose like the horn button or what ever. then there will be a larg nut in the center take it off then use a steerign wheel puller (you can get at the parts store for about 10 bucks) just use the puller to take it off then replace. sorry i can't be more specific but it should be that hard just don't set off the airbag that will hurt.
