Default 331 stoker kit

Ive heard 331 stoker kits are better in the long end than the 347. I want to do this my 95 gt (stock) what would be the best way to go at this the most affordable but reliable way to go about this.

I have been having simular disscussion on this subject...I heard that 331 are less problematic and no block modification. see 331 or 347 post. I would also be interested in suggestions on kit manufacturers to avoid.

the 347 used to burn oil really bad because of the way the 302 had to be stroked and bored there was clearance issues, most companies have cleared these issues up by using diffrent valves and rods etc, umm www.coasthigh.com has been very popular lately and thats where i plan to get my 408

Yep, those oil burning stories are years old.
I don't think that any of them sell those kits anymore. The whole thing had to do with placement of the oil ring relative to the wrist-pin on the piston...

you have to notch the block for clearance of the rods for the 347 but not for the 331

You need to clearance for a 331 also.
