Little problem with my radio

When the radio on my 95 is on FM and the 'ST' light flashes, a staticy squeeling sound accompanies it. Anyone ever have a problem like this before or know what may be the problem?

i havnt had this problem before with the stock one. but as soon as i got the car i took the stock one out and replaced it with an aftermarket. ask this question in the audio section and someone there will be able to answer your question im sure.
