Default Winter tires?

Hello all! I'm brand new to this forum and have a question about what tires to use in a Michigan winter.

I currently have an '06 coupe GT with the 18' polished aluminum wheel option. I plan on driving this car all year round and I'm looking for some tires that I can put on the car during the winter when it gets icy & snowy.

Is there a general consensus on the best 18' winter tires for a mustang? I want to get 18' winter tires because I don't want to have to get another set of rims.

Also, for those of you in SE Michigan, what is the best place for buying tires in terms of price, free tire rotation, customer service, etc.?

I've always liked Pirelli for a good snow tire. Check with discount tire and belle tire they both are usually cheapest here in Mich.
YOu might have trouble finding a snow tire in 18in. Arn't the tires from the factory an all season tire?

Thanks for the advice.

Yes, the factory installed tires are all weather but not the 18' optional tires that came on mine.

I'll check out discount tire around here.

blizzaks and alpines are great, go for the narrowest ones you can fit, mine are studded, i highly recomend it if it's legal in your state.
