Default Design MY mods!

06 GT, AUTO... currently 100% stock.

Would like to get this car into the 12.8-13.2 range in the 1/4 (figure I'm a GOOD driver)...

Being as cost conscious as possible, what can I do to this car to attain this goal?!?!

Haha, buy a 10 inch wing... -- Hehe, sorry. Just wanted to tease. I've seen a lot of Auto guys on here, and I think a few of them have gotten into the high twelves with all your basic bolt ons. CAI, Tune, Pullies, etc, etc, etc. Possibly some suspension here and there, gears of course..

All that plus some lower control arms....definitely. A guy from my area "supposedly" is making high 12's on just 4.10's, tune, and DR's. So I guess it isn't a big chore to get there.

jlt intake =200
long tube headers, o/r mid pipe (h or x), and axleback, with install= 1500
4.10 gears installed=450
dyno tune with sct/diablo tuner=600

that and some good tires and you will more than likely be into the 12s

to save money, get the intake, some pullies, do gears, get an off road midpipe, and tune it and you should def at least be close to 12s

If you have an auto go with the 3.73 gearing. With an automatic, you will feel no diff between 3.73 and 4.10, but 3.73 will be more gas friendly when cruising on the highway.

Ohh, and I like the C&L + Diablo/SCT kit better then the JLT, but its going to cost a little more. I got mine for $450.

I'm personally at Borla Cat-Back, JLT II CAI with XCal II Tune done by Evolution Performance. I'm next going with springs, lower control arms, panhard bar. After that order is done this month. I will place another order in April for my L/T headers along with the X or H-Pipe. Then finally in May i'll be doing my 4.10 gears along with some new tires for the track!

BULL ****ING **** you city and highway will flip flop for milage at the most, 03yellowpony gets 22 mpg with 4.10s then i do with stock 3.27 (20 mpg), and SN-95s have a shorter OD ratio, PM nanaki if you want, he has a GT with 3.73s AND a vortech and wants 4.10s

THE TRANNY DOESNT MATTER, GO WITH 4.10s!

do you have or ever driven a late model stang with 4.10s? thats what i though.
