@#$%$@
Very Funny thread!...lol
The funniest part of all is the absolute truth in the statements. I bought my vortech the day before I even picked up my roush and had it installed the next morning, so the only time I drove my car stock was the 5 miles home from the dealership and the 6 miles the next morning to the shop...lol
I wanted adam to tune my car (cause he's the best) and explained to him that, "I just want a 12 second mustang - if I can make 12.99, I will be SOOOO satisfied" My very next time at the track I ran a 12.96 and had the car back in the shop that monday telling adam, "I just want to make a 12.50 - if I can do that, I will be SOOOO satisfied". My next time at the track I ran a 12.34 and my car was back that next monday and I was teling adam, "I just want to break 12 - that's it, if I make an 11.99, then I'll never want anymore and I'll be so happy with an 11 second street car and I'll be 100% satisfied" 1 month later I was running consistent 11.60's and brought my car back and told adam, "Just get me in the low 11's and I'm done - nothing else to do, it will be one of the baddest stangs around and I'm totally done and I'll be COMPLETELY satisfied".
My car runs consistent 11.30's -11.40's and it was after this that I made another trip to adam in January and said, "I just want a 10 second car. I don't care if it's 10.999 - I just want to break into the 10's and I'm done" and then I dropped the biggest single wad of cash I have spent since buying the actual car. I gave adam over 6K to make me 1/2 second faster. He smiled and politely said, "I'll get the car ready for the 9's"
Yes, I am an addict and there's not a damn thing I can do about it as long as there's 'pushers' out there willing to supply me...

Yeeeeeha ! I swear that made a noticable difference ,unless I am nuts. Took the mush out. First and second felt way better. Quick lunch time drive .Went to 100 and backed off when I saw another car;scared of the police. I HOPE THIS KIND OF DRIVING IS OK FOR A NEW CAR. by the way black cars on the dirt roads around here=pain in the *** to keep clean ,and the pollen arrrrrrrrrrr. Anyway thanks for the advice;that little trick will suffice for at least a week. Oh yeah, will it have to be reset again or will that setting last?I think I have add.
The reason for the loss of power is because the Mustang GT's Spanish Oak CPU has an algorithm that adapts to your driving habits. This means that the engine will start generating less power if you drive conservatively over a period of time, and conversely more power if you're an aggressive driver. Using the reset method simply wipes out the CPU's memory of your driving habits.

Wow,so the loss of power is reall and not just in my head. That kind of sucks. Is there a way to get rid of that without spending a bunch of money.I just want the car to act like a car and not adjust to certain driving habits. I mean let's face it you can't allways drive like a scallded *** ape especially on the roads and traffic in the city . Jail time would most certainly ensue, and jail sucks.I dont' want some damn processor regulating the performance of my car when I want it to perform;I have my own processor for that, thanks to the procreation of my parents.
