I think GMS has a dual fuel pump setup.

i was readin on Powerhouses' website and it said "Shop test car went a best to date of 10.65 @ 131 MPH at the NMRA Bowling Green, KY event
-Test car retains the stock longblock, clutch and transmission"
was wondering if u happen to know what type of mods that consisted of.

Also, your saying basically if i want to run over 500rwhp then i need to do a dual fuel pump setup, 60lb injectors, and some forged internals?
correct me if im wrong here, im just now getting introduced to all the terminology and how things work.

I know that was on 104 octane race fuel, with twin fuel pumps, an aluminum driveshaft, the suspension mods I have outlined above for my car, gears and I would imagine a few other minor bolt-ons. More or less a stock motor with a turbo.

Yes you are correct in your understanding, that extra 50hp is going to cost a lot of $$$$. I don't know if you've ever driven a 450rwhp car, but it's very impressive don't get stuck on the number. You can't race dyno numbers.

i see what you are sayin, the great thing about this is my dad owns a performance shop lol ( you would think that i would know more about this ) but the reason i am asking about how to break 500rwhp it that all i have to purchase is the parts, labor is going to be free (thank GOD) so i was just trying to get a ball-park number on how much this would have to cost in just parts.

i've never driven a 450rwhp car, but i have rode shotgun in a 750rwhp 1965 Corvette Stingray and i thought i was going to $h!t myself.

I understand what you are saying, if installation weren't free on the turbo kit then I would be doing the work myself. I intend to pay for very little labor in the buildup of my car, I am more than capable of doing most mods including swapping the motor. I would think you are going to get better deals than most of us on your parts also.

I wouldn't sell 450rwhp short, I would drive it with just a power adder to see if you like it before spending the money to get another 50hp.

These are pretty general numbers you can find better prices or you can spend more.

Rotating assembly - 2k
8 bolt flywheel to match the forged crank - 400
Clutch (you might as well do it while the motor is out) - 350
Dual fuel pumps (if you just add it to the stock pump and use factory lines) - 200
Injectors - 450
Gaskets - 300

Keep in mind when building a car you are always going to come across things you need to buy that you didn't think of earlier.
