Default Reputable TUNER

Dont know how i can talk myself into this on a new car, but whats a good tunable programmer for an '06 GT? Ive seen so many different people run different things in threads, but no idea what has the best fail-safe rate. or who has more pre-programmed tunes. or downloadable tunes. Hypertech, Diablo, XCEL (?), etc. so many choices.

From what I've read, they're all the same its just a matter of price.
You're looking to spend anywhere between $300 - 400 for one.
By recommendation, I just ordered a DiabloSport tuner at the following site for $319.99, with free shipping.
http://www.concoursdirect.com/di20mugtprpr.html
They're a DiabloSport Warehouse distributor.

Man! I can't wait for it to come in.

so when it comes to the SCT Xcalibrator or the Diablo, what is the main difference? reading those posts Brenspeed / Evo, it sounds nice to have mail order tunes. but what capabilities does the tuner actually carry? AFR, gearing, etc?

i follow the sct/diablo stuff sometimes, and really they arent much different at all anymore, really it depends on your local area as to what your tuners there prefer or what the mail order tuners prefer anymore these days, i have noticed in the past that sct sometimes unlocks certain things and progresses with their code alittle faster than diablo but that doesnt matter anymore as for these cars have been out a good while now. Really its all about preference and what your online / local area tuner is comfortable with.. thats what made my ultimate decision anyways.

chris.

just a side note.. in my local area all the mustang shops swear by sct and 2 that were diablo switched over to sct, i dont know why but this is what caused me to get an sct because i cant afford to drive 100+ miles to go get a diablo custom dyno tune.
