I'm headin off to the track tomorrow for the first time and I was just wondering what I should expect outta my bone stock 05 gt. It's got the 5spd. How hard is it to launch these things? What rpm should I be shifting at? Anything else I should know before I go, thanks!

honestly get it dynoed and find the highest torque rpm, and rev to that number... dont dump the clutch and and dont ride it. practice a few times get a good feel for it. launching is the key to getting a good run. as far as shifting goes do what you will i dont recommend power shifting but it will give you a faster time. also smoke your tires a good bit. it'll kill the tread but you'll grip like glue, even on my stock pirellis ive done it.

i ran a 13.52 bone stock, and have not run it since upgrades. Alt: sea level Temp: 75 degrees
