I would like to acheive this hp rating without going forced induction, can anyone suggest which mods would best suit my needs here? I am going to guess it would require some head work, or a cam swap but it sure would be nice to hit this 400hp goal with bolt on parts...

The power potential with FI is amazing, but I think that all of the stories I have heard about blown motors has me staying NA for now, I am a big fan of FI, I had a Buick Grand National, but it was the non-intercooled version, fun car though..Are you enjoying your Supercharger??

This is an actual picture of me while driving the car -> When not driving the car and just thinking about the car it looks more like ->
Particularly if you keep it tame (and when going through all the cars that blew up even 475 (crank) is tame), correctly installed/tuned you should have no problems other than using lots of gas and tires (not because it sucks gas when your foot is NOT in it, but because it is that much harder to keep the foot out of it)...
With one notable exception, all the stories I have heard about blowing things up were at pretty high boost levels...
I should warn you though - if your sensibilities and not your wallet are preventing you, then stay away from the web... It will encourage you to do very bad things and spend lots of money...

RE: 400 Flywheel horsepower
Damn now you got me thinking, I hate when that happens, when I had my Grand National I always wanted more boost, more boost, it was like a drug or something, but I was much younger and willing to take risks back then....
