Danny,

What do you think of the Olympus EVOLT E-500 Camera with 14 45 mm and 40 150 mm Zuiko Lenses. I'm feeling the need for an SLR and this one is affordable and got good reviews.
Not too familiar with it. I'd say that those lens ranges are good and should do well for most situations. What speed are they? I think that most manufacturer's cameras for the average person are more than able to give you good shots straight from the camera and will all have about the same features. Best thing to do is go hold a Canon, Nikon, Olympus, etc and see which 'fits' you best. That's the way I chose my Nikon.

I have an Olympus 2100Z Ultra and a Kodak DX7590, the 2100 has gotten old and is only 2 megs, while it takes great pictures it doesn't have enough resolution so it's used for general purpose. The Kodak is much more difficult to get good pcitures from, set on auto it either takes fantastic pictures or really crappy ones. Getting dark pictures to turn out is difficult. So, I was looking at the Evolt to replace the Kodak and since it's SLR I can adjust the camera to my use rather than trying to get one camera that tries to do everything. Also the 8meg CCD delivers the resolution I need.

I have yet been able to see one up close so I use Steve Digicams as a tool for my research, I used his site when I bought the 2100 also. http://www.steves-digicams.com/2005_reviews/e500.html

There are some great prosumer cameras out there that aren't DSLR, but have a fixed lens, but higher resolution and more manual controls. You may want to see what Sony is offering. If I were looking for a good all around camera, I would def look into the Sony prosumer line.

Some latest shots with my recent mods. My Shindoda Racing front spoiler is shipping today and will hopefully be on this weekend.

Damn I love your car! This is absolutly one of the most tastefully done GTs I've seen...and your photography skills certainly help! Very well done!
Thanks. My insperation is the 1966 fastback, which was the first Mustang I fell in love with. A neighbor's dad had a restored black w/red interior GT 1966 fastback, and it was just an amazing looking car. Since buying my 06 I've worked to add styling elements from the 66 while keeping enough modern looks to make it unique. I have pre-ordered the Silver Horse Racing flush mount louvers, and have ordered the Shinoda front spoiler which should have shipped today. These last 2 items will be the end of my year 1 mods. Next year I'm looking at the aluminum heat extracting hood with the two vents much like the 1968 hood, then many suspension and performance upgrades... there's always something isn't there?

how do you like the rear window louvers? Plastic or metal? I'm thinking about getting some.

I know you didn't just say your car is boring! PLEASE tell me you didn't just say your car is boring!!! Do you love it? Do you smile EVERY time you get in it? Doesn't matter that you haven't done any mods yet -- if you get a woody (or at least a cheesy grin) just sitting on those seats, it's EXCITING exactly as it is. All I've done to mine is add tint, plenum cover, and some MGW accents inside -- that's it -- but I still feel like I'm driving something I can live with "as is" for years. Don't you agree?

I'm razzin' you of course....but I know you agree. Your car is definitely not boring.
You're right, my bad..... just at times I feel my baby is rather vanilla when I see all the awesome things some of you have done to your stangs that I could never afford. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE MY STANG !!
