Wow i can't believe the milage, around 20mpg with 450 horses, thats awesome. I would have thought a lot less considering the 39lb/phr injectors they require. What about longevity? 30 thousand miles, 50 or maybe 100? I'd like about 8lbs of boost, should be around 425hp or so.

Note that my mileage has been worse since installing the blower. Mostly because of my right foot, even if it's not intentional.

Whatever kind of FI you have, you are not going to get great mileage if you use it and it's difficult not to.

It is a lot of money to spend if you're not going to use it.

There are small differences in tune (timing, A/F), FI (roots, screw, turbo), but it takes a given amount of fuel to make a given amount of power. There is no free ride. If you want better mileage and great looks, get a V6. You want power, FI for your V8.

Hey don't get me wrong, I bought my GT to drive every day, not sit in the garage like my Boss302 did. I'm kicking around the idea of getting a whipple but didn't want the fuel milage to go down the tubes IE 10 to 12 mpg. You're only making my decision easier by stating that your achieveing decent or acceptable milage with the amount of horsepower your putting out.

You're right, I think the milage is accepable and having this kind of performance with the drivability and comforts of a stock car is wonderful. I don't think the price is bad either, given the performance increase and ease of install. (compared to mods like stroking, cams, head work, etc.)
