On warranty... All of the kits out there do not include a powertrain warranty unless you buy one of their kits through a dealership and have it installed by them or purchase the kit installed from the builder such as Saleen... All other aftermarket kits do not come with a warranty and will void your factory powertrain warranty...

Ford offers no warranty on the kits sold though FRPP and I would not wait for one either as they have not done so in the past...

Modding and going fast cost money, if it did not then most factory cars running high HP (500+) would not cost 40K+... If you want a factory warranty on a high HP car than either buy a Saleen/Roush from the dealer, a GT500 or other such beast and pay the premium... There is a reason why a Saleen cost 50K+ and it is not just all parts, they have to factor in the cost of failures when running high output on stock engines from Ford...

The Whipple is a great kit, if you want one buy it and stick to the tune it brings and you should be fine... If however you buy it and install and you blow your engine, buyer beware, as you are now going to be buying a new short block and maybe other parts as well depending on how bad it lets go...
