I know this is a little off topic and I do not mean it to start a thread about which is faster. It seems that most think a z28 is slightly faster than our mustangs stock and in a race they should win.
What RWHP do we have to make to put us in the should win catagory, I dont mean just make it a drivers race I would like to know what would make us win 4-5 times with close drivers. I beleive they make about 310 RWHP but I think they are heavier aswell and thier gearing is pretty high. SOOO I was thinking 300 should give a mustang a slight advantage in a 1/4 mile. Disagree? I know some of you guys have both, and my Chevy knowlege is lacking.
The goal for my car is to just be faster than most sports cars on the road, and I cant live with a stock comaro being faster.

Well the reason I went ahead and posted here is 1) everyone always seems to shoot for 300... Seems there must be something to it, and 2) If i start a new thread called Comaro Compare I will get an entire thread of people argueing which is faster..... I was hoping just to catch someone that has both or atleast has owned both.
