you might be right they might be a waste of cash, but it seems to me that it would restrict the flow, but hey I never claimed to know everything. If you have any other tips on gaining horses, I'm always open to suggestions!
There is a reason only long tube headers add horsepower to 05+ mustang GT's, they are the only stock air restriction. 2.5" dual pipes overcome that slight bend in the stock over-axle's. Per CrazyAl, you wouldn't really gain any horsepower from a swap until you are around 500+ rwhp.
