WOW!
I guess not enough people are buying Fords, if that dealership is forcedto chase down every penny like that...
The General Manager probably spends $44.00 on his lunch everyday...

I got money back also for the reg..

You should pay the stupid $44 bucks since it isn't an issue for you. Remember they have someone who handles the dmv paperwork seperate from the sales folks. They just caught the descrepency and are trying to fix it. Pay up and move on with your life. Better than having issues with your reg..

I think registering your car is a service they do for you as a courtesy. Why blast them for $44. Perhaps you had some unusual circumstance when transfering your tags or getting the new ones that they did not forsee. Is it really worth ruining your relationship with the dealer? Last I looked the dealer didn't run the DMV. JMO

Ask them if letters to the local paper and a call to the BBB is worth 44.00.......that is after you tell them to sit and spin

i dont think it should be your responsibility... its their miscalculation, try to argue it and if it extends, then tell them to eat sh** and if it keeps going, then i guess pay the 44 bux... not much but still, comes down to responsibility (on their part), Ford are butt holes about things... they never called to check on the car and if I was satisfied andeerything even after I bought the car from them... I like the car... not some of the staff however...
