I wanted to take my car to the original dealer for her first scheduled service (no real good reason why, but it seemed like a good idea at the time) so I pulled off the CAI and tune and drove her around for a week...man, what a difference.

I picked her up the next day at 8 am, drove straight home and put it all back on before I even thought about driving to work

the bottom line is you are getting more horsepower... ive heard and seen from 20 ta28 hp gains with the intake and tune... i definetly felt a difference in power when putting the steeda high velocity intake with a tune on my car... get an intake pipe compared to the stock pipe to assist in keeping the air running through cold

Does anybody know what brenspeed tune brings with the c&l CAI? I think my tune is 25 or even 30 to the wheels.

25-28 are typical HP gains.....Brenspeed, B ama or Evo....your tuner might be able to squeeze out some more over that and with the pullies be looking at 300-310.

You shouldn't have to take off the CAI to go in for maintenance. I leave mine on.
