Default RE: WHEEL HOPPPP!!!

Get the adj LCA's and that should help. Even if the car is done at the dealer I would bring it into a custom/hod rod shop that knows pinion angles and how to adj. CrazyAl has manys threads on the rear suspension and pinion angles and how to adj. Do a search under author for last years posts and see what comes up from his posts ....I know it will help. He likes BMR and has the one piece driveshaft as well (I think). Later, hope it helps! J

Well im good friends with the dealership, so i know it isnt the installtion myb the pinion angle is wrong.
Not to bad mouth your friends but things can go awry with dealer installs. Just look at how many people take there cars back to the dealer over and over for the same problems. I'm a mechanic(aircraft) and so are most of my friends but that doesn't mean they don't mess up or that things never go wrong. Just thenature of the mechanical beast. But you will need eitheradjustable LCAs or an adjustable UCA to adjust your pinion angle. Your pinion angle is almost certainly off since you have a one piece DS. Your pinion angle is set for a 2 pc. PM CrazyAl or search his threads, he has diagrams of how to measure the pinion angle on a 1 pc DS since you measure it differently than on a 2 pc DS.

Do you have lower control arm relocation brackets on?If the control arm is slanted upward as it approaches the rear wheel, it is actually pushing the wheel up as torque is applied. This can cause bad hop...just a though...
