what's up guys? i just installed my tune from Ba-ma chips. it's the 93 octane performance tune. runs awesome, it's like 3rd gear is never gonna stop pulling. it definately feels faster but seems like it's lost some torque. anybodyelse experience that? that leads me to my question, which tune is gonna make a faster car: the torque tune or the performance tune?

They both pull quite hard. I am using torq right now. Very nice for low RPMs while the performance with pull throughout the entire power band a little better.

You can load one and the next day the other and see which you prefer. 3rd is unbelievable though isnt it

yeah 3rd is amazing! it's like the first time i felt third gear in an LS1. very nice. i don't have both tunes all i have is the performance. i wanted to have the tune that made the most power over all without losing any top end. i haven't run my car at the strip yet but i'm hoping the performance tune will put up better 1/4 mile numbers than the torque tune.

Doug does have a race tune for the track...never used it though.
