You did indeed buy the right tuner, but I agree with the rest of the gang, its a canned tune, you could get more outta that puppy. get a tune. believe me. brenspeed, b ama, whatever, I would highly advise
Oh yeah, totally agree! Settle down fellas...easy does it...lol...I literally got the tuner literally the day before the dyno run with the local Mustang club...so I went with what I had. I wasn't going to put a 93 octane tune on it with a half tank of 87.

I want a custom tune, for sure. I need to find a good SCT shop in town. Brenspeed seems to be popular as well--I might look into that. I'll do my homework and make a decision that will work best for me.

06SALEEN - Your #'s dont make sense either... on a 5spd... you lose about 15% crank to wheels..... 250 RWHP on a MD s/b 295-300 crank.... stock stangs are dynoing 255-265 on a MD... 275 on DJ...

something's not right in Denmark

my 06 put down 435 on MD (Vortech H.O.w/ custom SCT tune)

Well every car is different, but if I did not have 20 inch heavy crome rims I would of proably put down 265-270 on a mustang dyno and with my 280 rwhpnow I would be around 295-300, those 20's eat up a ton of hp about 15-20 rwhp. I am at sea level if it matters (sunny FL)

My tune is perfect and my tuner knows what he is doing.

There is nothing wrong with his tune, at the end of the day his hp is not to far off from everyone else, since he dynoed on a mustang dyno (which I think is real street hp numbers) he is right on.

Stock baseline on my N/A saleen 330 crank I put down 250rwpm with a 5 speed. Before any tune etc... After tune and CAI and o/r xpipe I was at 280 rwhp.

The only real way to tell hp/tq is on the track...Again his numbers are fine
I agree...and appreciate the comments. I mean, they are what they are. It's a Mustang Dyno, like you said--and the numbers don't lie.

Great spread sheet. But I will stick to the info I have seen on mustang dyno 5 speeds 245-255 rwhp

If you take 18 % from 300 at the crank that would be 246 rwhp 15 % 255 rwhp sp there is your answer

If you take my stock hp 330 crank take away 18% and another 15-20 rwhp for my tire size , there is your 250rwhp.

Look we could argue back and forth, but I have beaten guys with claims of 280-300 rwhp in there 05+ Gt with a CAI,tune and pullie. And beat them everytime with my 280 rwhp saleen with pullies,CAI,o/r xpipe and tune.....

Dyno jet numbers will be higher so my claim of stock GT at 245-255 on a mustang dyno is right on with a dyno jet claims of 255-265...

What are your numbers? More than likely your going to be more than me.....Though after the turbo is installed, we will start building a new engine to go in then I can turn up the boost, you may not want to run me then,...lol

Where are you located?
