yeah, i dont think i have heard about this"hold the gas pedal down" either....

I read this in another post and it seems to work. Apparently it resets the throttle response.

Turn the ignitionon but don't start the engine. Then slowly push the accelerator to the floor. Hold for 5 seconds or so, then slowly release.

InOregon we can't pump our own gas (yeah, I know )so I try to remember to do it while I'm sitting there waiting for the tank to fill.

A note on that trick, I've read that you have to wait for all the warning lights, etc. on the dash to go off before you do it.

Thanks BlackBetty - forgot that part. After releasing the pedal you also need to turn the key back to off and wait a few seconds before starting her up.

wouldnt the responsiveness just keep resetting? What does it do for you besides giving a little resopnse?

I havent noticed it coming back with the tune from b ama and i do not think the brenspeed users complaing about the it coming back either.
