Default JLT CAI Question

I just installed my JLT but the intake elbow bends back toward the firewall a little. Has anyone had to trim down the rubber intake elbow at the thottle body end? It's not much but you can tell it doesn't fit right.

i had the jlt2 on. the interface between the rubber
elbow and the throttle body, may not have been
absolutely perfect, but it was darn close.

Mine fit fine. It helps if you don't tighten down the heat sheild bolt until you get everything else tight and aligned.

finesse the parts around. its not a super super clean install; you have to adjust the inlet pipe with the rubber elbow and the inlet pipe with the air filter.

Sure you have the elbow on the right way? Maybe take it off and stick the other end on the TB.

I had to mess with mine for about 20 minutes adjusting the clamps, position of the shield, etc. I eventually got it to sit as it should, but it was in no way an exact fit. Overall I'm happy with it though...
