Keep the magnaflows and go ahead with the rest of the exhaust. The headers are great and the x-pipe will change the sound. I still have the h-pipe and with the magnaflows the exhaust is a mean and deep tone and quiet at cruising speeds! JMO

You should be fine around cops as long as you don't jump on it while they are around. Gruntstanger's is ridiculously loud because he's running straight pipes. You still have mufflers and cats so you should be fine, and much quieter than him.

Blike you are right they are rediculiously loud but it's like an addiction. I did however have the stock mufflers on before I got the SLP's and the diff is very noticable. The sound is great but is very loud. lol
