Mod Testing w/ Dyno?
Has anyone here tested each of their mods individually on a dyno?
A CAI w/ tune seems like the most popular mod around here, but has anyone tested the tune only first on a dyno and followed up with a tune plus CAI test? I'm curious what a tune only does?
What about a test after adding an exhaust mod or pulley mod to the CAI/tune?
It would be interesting to see the cumulative affect of individual mods on our cars.

Remember that air temps, engine temps, and the dyno itself varies and other factors as well. The only way to get a good comparison is to test without the mod while the car is cold and then test with a mod on the same dyno the same day with the car cold.

also, unless you either own your own dynomometer or
have access to free useage, it would be pretty expensive
relative to the value of the data collected....
