Default Thinking about UPD and O/R X-pipe.

I've been considering getting a UDP and an O/R X-pipe but I have a few questions...

1) What is a good estimate for how much power it will add (supporting mods in sig)
2) How will these affect my mileage.
3) Will either of these affect the longevity of any other components?
4) Will I need a new tune?

1.) probably 10-20 rwhp?
2.) udp's are said to improve mileage but the way you would drive it would probably not be so efficient... (its a mustang) and I dont know about the x pipe...
3.) longevity? most after market parts help the life of the engine.... if that answers the question
4.) I dont think udp's or the off road x require a new tune... but I would... wouldnt hurt and a new tune would definetly push out every last bit of hp...

I have the UDP's and the FRPP X-Pipe not off road. My guess is you'd pick up anywhere between 13 and 18 HP. But you will get up into the powerband quicker with those to mods

Everything else held constant, UDP should increase the life of the accessories. The engine, I'm not sure about.

Is the Steeda pulley the best one? Or are they all pretty much the same?

Steeda no doubt. I love mine. Also that pipe is worth 8 rear horsepower. To me that is a great investment for the money. Some people spends thousands of dollars for just a mere 10 to 15 horsepower. Long tube headers for example, our cars are particularly difficult to install those bubbas' and the price alone for them is no piece of cake. Yeah I read some where earlier on another topic that gears give you no horsepower. Yeah true but you will be faster so please you do the math. Gears, UDP, O/R Pipe, CAI/With Tune are all great for your car. And just think if I could of waited for 3 years I could have had a supercharger. SSSSSSSSSShhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiitttttttt ttttttttttttttttttttttttttt.
