The octane booster you buy at the autoparts store is junk. It only raises your octane by tenths of a point.

Thanks everyone for all the input. My friend let me borrow his car today so I could get to work. Later today I'm going to stop by the shop I go to and see if the guy that works there can give me an 87 tune to run with the C&L.
