There always seem to be guys that think it's legal because there isn't testing in their state. It's a FEDERAL law that you can't alter a vehicles emissions system. Even if you switch to high flow cats - it's illegal under 50k miles unless the originals are deffective, in which case Ford is resposible for fixing it - regardless of mileage.

Pay To Play dude - I got hit for it a while back too. Jack it up, put the catted pipe on, get it inspected/pay fine and move on
