Second Day of Whipple Installation

Second Day of Whipple Installation
After the second day of the installation a couple of impressions:
1) The instructions are pretty accurate with a couple of exceptions, this is due to differences between the 05 - 06 and 07 models.
2) A couple of things that would be good to have are a shop vac and soem compressed air, both are useful for cleaning up the engine. Just the little bits of dirt you don't want getting in the engine through the spark plug openings or theopenings when you take the intake manifold off.
3) You REALLY want a second pair of hands and a strong back when you put the supercharger on the engine. If you gave an engine hoist this would be a good time to use it. Don't get me wrong it isn't that heavy, but it is more than heavy enough when trying to gently but it into position with you arms fully extended.
4) Get a pair of fender covers, you will be spending a lot of time in the engine bay and you don't want to mess up you paint on the fenders.
DON'T laugh, since I was a bit nervous about taking on such a complex install I labeled the pieces as I went through the installation, so that is what the little white things are all over the engine.

Good work, when you are done you will not beleive the difference in power, if you run into any problems dont hesitate to ask, I still have the installation fresh in my mind.
Good luck

I'm almost done. I over torqued the radiator drain plug and broke it. Hopefully, I will be picking one up tomorrow, after that filler her up and start burning up some rubber.
