Default JLT Intake....WOW!

Hey Everyone...I just had to let everyone know how kick@** the JLT CAI is! Man....I honestly can't believe how much better the car is running overall. Shifts better, exhaust sounds better, etc. I had the local shop dyno it even though the weather sucked, so it was kinda just for kicks. See the attached...and LMK what ya think.

Had a guy named Jake help me out with getting the tune set up (Don't know what exact tune he used but they had a list of codes to use for various setups)...the first run was set with a 93 octane tune while I still have 87 in the tank. So we got that switched over to an 87 tune for the second run and the time being until I can empty the tank.

Im seeing a max at 260....which is not very good...most stock GT have around that number......You have a auto, but that is still kinda low....and 4.10s for an auto is a little much, 3.73 are better for you i think.

I was definitely starting to think 3.73s myself, thanks for the heads up!....as for the dyno, it was pretty hot (check the temp on the printout) so i'm sure there is more potential there.

I was thinking the same thing. Mine dynoed (Mustang Dyno) at 277 with the C&L and Brenspeed tune. The graph shown here is a DynoJet and only 260-ish (DynoJet to Mustang Dyno translation would be even lower numbers).

The intake is a nice piece and a custom tune (as you got) is the way to go. But the numbers seem a little low. Any thought of trying one of the canned tunes from JDM, Brenspeed, et al?
