1st oil change.....
I just did my first oil change and I was curious , what color is a Motorcraft oil filter? The filter I removed was white and had no writing on it.

Ok I thought the oil filter was a generic one . I went with the ALLMIGHTY WIX 51372 Thanks

the one from the factory was white, the motorcraft filters i bought for oil changeswere white with red lettering...if that helps any[sm=gears.gif]

Motorcraft filter is white... but is stamped in 3 places around filter "Motorcraft FL-820S". Picked up an FL820S @ local AutoZone for $4.09

Amsoil, WIX... I prefer the Amsoil for the Stang. Just my preference. Oh, AND it's black. Looks better than the white.

Motorcraft makes an excellent filter, I cant justify the cost for the amsoil filters!
