In the service? I got back from the "sand box" last november and got myself a 07. My recommendation is save the money you got from being overseas...use that money wisely.
the 05-08 S197 Mustangs are kind of finiky with the drive by wire thing in the ECU...and I agree with an earlier post nothing a tune can't fix.
Save your money on the bolt-on small HP gains...get a S/C or Turbo. Once the HP bug bites you, you wont be able to stop. Trust me on this. And I'm sure some will agree. IF you want to stick with N/A (naturally aspirated), then go with a decent Cold air kit, under drive pulleys and charge motion delete plates oh yeah and a tune. You'll get another good 20-30HP. Once again though, once the HP bug bites...there's no stopping after that!!
Your MPG is around 17city/25hwy...better with some places and different tunes but thats around average for the mustangs right now

yea im in the AF.. oyea i know about the "Sand Box" but naw im comin from the other **** hole Korea... yea im savin money over here just goin to the gym and workin.. the only thing i buy is food so i should be set comin back in June. I have been havin a hard time choosin what i want i went from truck to car.. i basically wanted somthing that is stock fast and looks good and i have always liked the stangs .. as far as mods i might throw somediffrent wheels and maybe a CAI. i dont want to go to much w/ the mods cuz i wanna still have money in the bank.. thanks for yalls help
