S/C novice, what should I do?
alright, im contemplating a supercharger. what are the pros and cons, i know its gonna be a little bit of money to spend, but what are the little things i dont know about? i know im not only going to be putting in just a supercharger, do i need new gears? what do i need to do to exhaust, gears, the whole car. i know absolutely nothing about this, so any advice is really welcomed. is it worth the trouble? its a daily driver car that i like to really crank at times. which reminds me, hows the gas mileage and interior noise post-S/C. thanks in advance guys

RE: S/C novice, what should I do?
i have a stock 07 auto and i installed a saleen suprcharger (435hp). that is my only mod. the cost $4832 for the charger at brenspeed and had my dealership install it for $575. the car went from around 250rwhp to 342rwhp and it feels great. i am running alittle lean and will do a custom tunein the spring but it is still a blast. i drove for 2 1/2 hours on the interstate and got 23.7 mpg. you will have to pay for 93 octane and you will get on it alot. so gas budget will go up. if you don't get to crazy with the hp it can last a long time with no engine problems. when you get on it, it makes a beautiful sound. it is my dd and noone knows that it is supercharger untl i hit the pedal. you can do a ton of things to help the s/c but you don't need anything else. good luck jeff

If you are looking into a S/C then I would highly reccomend getting upper/lower control arms and some wider stickier tires than your stock ones. Trust me you will get more out of your blower if you are properly transferring the energy where it belongs, (the street via the tires being planted firmly).

Realistically, you don't need anything else. However, other things are strongly recommended. Injectors, upper/lower control-arms, intake, tune, exhaust...oh and a large credit card...

These cars are pretty amazing that no supporting mods are needed to slap a blower on just like everyone else said.
+1 to wider/stickier rear tires to make the power useful
+1 to LCAs to get the power to the ground
+1 to exhaust for the muscle sound
