I myself also have an auto...
Mines a 5 spd. but thatreally doesn't matter...You do sound like your in the same spot as me...waiting for the snow to be gone. But hopefully everything works out because I think the stang needs a little waking up. If you get yours before me make sure to let me know how its goes and what you think.
Haha.....my bad. I can't wait for the snow to be gone. I have not driven the car since the December 2nd. I already know for a fact that I am ordering the JLT/XCAL from Breenspeed the 1st week of March. That way...when the car goes back on the road...hopefully late march..early april I will have it to put on after I run a few tanks of 93. The UDP's and gears will follow shortly
Dec. 2!!!!!! you are one lucky guyI havn't driven mine since the beggining of Nov. Oh well...it will only make pulling it out of the garage in April that much sweeter. Good call BTW on ordering the stuff in March and not now...it would have only tormented you having to look at the box and not being able to install itI know from experience...my Hurst shifter has been calling my name for the last month.
That sucks...an entire extra month . I ordered louvers and a chin spoiler a few weeks ago. They are getting actually at the shop right now getting painted. I know once I get them back I will be going in the basement to look at them. I have a bunch of other interior things already down there as well...so each time I do laundryI look at the boxes and cry a little knowing that I cant even put them on the car for at least 10 more weeks

I park mine for the winter. I have a 97 civic that I use as my winter car. They use a lot of salt whereI live and they do a crappy job of plowing the streets. Plus....I want to keep the car as safe as possible....a lot of bad drivers in NY.

Right now I'm running 4.10s with 17" wheels and stock Pirelli's (my 'winter' tires/rims). Its a 5 sp. It true that the 4.10s will 'shorten' first and make you have to shift sooner but in my opinion its not a problem. It makes the car more 'twitchy' or 'race car like'...less of a cruiser. So it kind of depends what you're looking for. It gets you into the fat part of the powerband so much quicker than 3.31 or 3.55, even though you don't have more HP it sure feels like you do.
