I hate to say it but so true (gidyupgo's response) but you (op) fixed the problem and found it and obviously had nothing to do with the S/C!
This is the tech stuff that is and should be posted in the tech S197 sections..... glad all is well and she is fine now.....J

I'd take the photo and findings, draft a letter to Ford mentioning the dealers reply to you and that they wouldn't even help you and ask Ford is that how a loyal customer should be treated. Problem had nothing to do with your mods. Oh, and what was the most recent press release from Ford; they are looking to get rid of 13,000 more employees. They need passionate loyal customers yet look at the message being sent.....OI VAY

hey acdc, glad you found the problem
and fixed it. the next time i'm under
my car, i'm gonna look at the starter
wiring and add insulation if necessary.



looks like dex called it and gets the
prize on this one

Theres another reason i prefer sticks over autos. When crap like that happens you can at least push start that philly. Good luck with an auto Ive seen dudes try and just laugh.
