Default r all 4.6 blocks created equal

ok the real question is if i were to build a stroker motor in my free time, would any short block work or would i have to stick with an 05+. im in the process of goin over all my options and i thought hmm how much would it cost to build a 302 stroker with heads/cams. mayb build it slowly and when im ready to install it sell my original motor for a whipple. also i remember someone postin a while back explorer 3v blocks goin for like 700$. anyone know wut im talking about?

There are actually a lot of 4.6 blocks that work from aluminum to iron. There is also big bore blocks with darton sleeve systems.

The main difference in the 4.6 blocks outside of stock is that you may need different motor mounts.
