With just a CAI/92 octane tune and a 3000 stall the car will have a lot of potential but also a lot of traction problems. With the added power, tuning, higher stall speed, and torque multiplication, it's going to be tricky to launch well on stock rubber. Add some DRs to the mix and you'll hit 12s. On stock tires and a good launch, you shouldn't have a problem hitting low 13s. If you figure the average stock Auto GT will run a 13.7-13.8 (mine ran 13.83 in 70-80 degree weather). CAI/tune are good for 5/10s (what I experienced). The TC is good for another few 1/10s but really depends on traction to be worth while.

^^
does having a stiffer suspension set up and firmer up front help out with the traction problems?
not to mention upper and lower control arms.

Suspension always helps but without sticky tires, I really don't think the full potential of the 3000 stall will be usable...well, maybe for a smokey show [8D]but not for good 1/4 mile times.

What are some good tires that are good for daily driving and launching with the stock 17 rims. Im thinking about also getting some 3.73 gears now to. Thanks for all the help everyone.
