Default Pinging, no way!

Well, like many others have said... and I agree. It was the seperation plate between the Engine and Trans. Took it to another dealer for a second opinion, and they put some rubber spacers inbetween and the problem is fixed, but they are going to go ahead and do the tsb by replacing the plate with the updated one.

Also went and got the windows tinted, and the car is in need of a detail now because of all the over spray they do. Disappointing.

And! I went to Moroso. It's very confusing in comparsion to the wide-open Englishtown, and it takes forever to do some runs... Only got 2 runs in 4 hours. 1st run I left TC on by accident, ran a 13.4 but let off way before I was supposed to. Trapped at 99 mph. Second time took TC off, but spun... Let off 1st for a second to grab, then went back on it but hit the rev limiter... Ended up running a 14.1, disappointing. Was hoping to see some better times with Florida being closer to sea level, but oh well. It's been a while so I'm not really in the grove of launching either.

PS Paid $150 for the tint, 20% all around. Not 3M but the guy said he prefers it rather than the over-expensive 3M. Plus he said it's warrantied for life. Mentioned to him about the moleskin but he said he's done 100s with no problems. I'm still skeptical of course because of so many people on here who have had their cars tinted/scratched.

3M is the best quality and you really need the moleskin no matter what he says.

Like GidyupGo said, it WILL scratch. Get the MoleSkin now unless the guy will re-tint for no charge when it scratches.

Mine got several deep vertical scratches before the MoleSkin. I wish I had known before having it tinted.

Ya the guy who tinted my windows said he did a bunch also without any problems. I went ahead and did it anyways because he is just trying to sell his expertise!
