In the mornings my car was sluggish from 3000-4000 then after 4000 it was fine after a few minutes of driving it went away. I cleaned the MAF but that didn't do anything. I then cleaned my throttle body and the sluggish went away.

I try to clean my throttle body every time I take mine for a ride.................... with a wet nitrous shot. Works wonders. The sluggish goes away immediately. [sm=icon_rock.gif]

Ive got a 93 tune from Brent. Yes, your car learns your driving habits and adapts to them. My shifts eventually turn to mush. Once a month, I reload the tune and everything is hunky dory again.

I have a 93 octane tune from brenspeed with 95mmC&L. It is getting noticeably worse with time. When i first got it was great. Now it goes from semi sluggish at below 3 grand to very peppy right after 3 grand. Under steady accelleration you woudl think i feather the clutch or hit the gas down. Is anyone else falling into this? Maybe this is to be expected.

My old cars computer had a learning curve (WRX), is this computer the same way?

Maybe it is because it goes between 40 degrees and 70 degrees from night to day?

Should i see about getting new tunes from brenspeed?

cheers
The LTFT'smay not have been disabled. (long term fuel trim)

The IMRC's open at about 3000 - 3200 rpm. You can see this if you datalog them. They are either "closed" (below 3000rpm) or "open" (above 3000rpm)

Give Brent a call, tell him whats happening, he will make an adjustment to your tune and email you a new tune.

By the way, you may want to clean the inside of the throttle body and the MAFS. Normal maintenance issue

The IMRC's can open as early as 1500 rpms or as late as 3600 rpms, depending on throttle position and calculated torque loads according to the tables that control them. What your feeling is the engine coming up on the cam. It's more noticable because the part throttle adaptive learning (which cannot be turned off, only WOT adaptive learning can be turned off) starts figuring things out on the low end pretty quick due to the amount of time the engine spends there. The cam phasing doesn't come into play until much later in the powerband.

Also, turning off LTFT's is a bad idea if your car is a daily or sees semi-daiy driving duties.
