What kind of blower do you have? You'll only get more peak boost by spinning higher on a centrifugal type...

I also assume you're talking about your rev limiter and that seems really weird considering the stock setting is 6200?

No offense, but that is a horrible tune if you're blowing out spark or leaning out/running rich at 6000 rpm. Your blower makes boost by rpm and you should have your rev limiter set for about 6800 rpm and shifting at 6500 rpm for sure with that blower.

When I had a vortech on my stock motor, I shifted at 6800 rpm.

Be careful to watch your AF ratio if you pull beyond 6200. I started leaning out at 500rwhp I believe to the injectors maxed out. Moaddict might verify the limit of the 39lb injectors.

Both are good points - what fuel system do you have?

Yes, I used #60's when I was pulling to 7K.

However, you shouldn't be 'watching' anything if you are not a professional tuner. You should not be tuning your own car. I don't have your dyno in front of me but if your tuner doesn't know why your car is falling off at 6K rpm, then my suggestion is to look for another tuner, if I'm honest.

I have to agree with the Modaddict. Find a new tuner. the 39# injectors max out around 5800 rpm and will lean out around 6300 or so. You'd see a bit of a "hook" or "dip" in the A/F line, getting rich, then edging back up- leaning out!!

the only other thing I can mention...if the weather is colder you'll boost more and would want to shift sooner.
