anyway you could have everything switched from the aluminum block to the iron block to put in the car while you build the aluminum block?

i have no idea if that's an option or how much it would cost, i'm just throwin it out there.

would it be better to just buy the annihilator 4.6 shortblock from MMR? which is on 2799, it might come out cheaper to just buy this than to build my own.... it never clearly states if it has forged rods or pistons, but says its will handle up to 900hp. Anyone have this bottom end? opinions on it?

Personally I'm not a fan of MMR motors but that's just me.

Building a seperate block and not having your car down other than the couple days to make the swap is very smart...

I'm probably gonna buy a junkyard longblock and go this route. Build the junkyard block and pull mine when it's built. I'll keep my stock block around the garage wrapped in plastic. Then raise the boost and add some pressure..

why do you say that? Do you know of some issues with their engines? Would it be better to just build my own?
