Hi Solitear - welcome:

If you do a little digging thru old posts you'll see that this questions gets asked often and the answers are always the same (although everybody has their opinion):

- The C&L and JLT Intakes are the most popular
- Most intakes, on a NA engine, make approx the same HP (within a few ponies)
- Steeda, Ford Racing and BBK are also popular but far less than the above
- Highly....and I mean Highly recommended you get a CAI and Tune/Tuner package. Just the intake alone isn't going to do that much and likely throw a CEL
- On this site the most popular vendors for an Intake and Tune combo are: bamachips.com and brenspeed.com

Also - give us a signature line: what year, color, engine, current mods, etc.

One more thing - I'd stay away from RPMOutlet. I've never used them, but if memory serves, there's been a LOT of bad press about them on this site.. I'm sure someone will jump in and correct me if I have the sites confused (at which point I'll edit this to remove the bad press)..

+1 on Brenspeed.com. I highly recommend them, the best customer service around.

Bama also seems to be popular, although I have no experience with them at all. If memory serves, the general consensus seems to be Brenspeed for MT cars and Bama for AT cars. ??

HTH, and welcome to the forums!

The CAI's are all equivalent in performance. It's the tune that will make the big difference. Most of the more popular vendors (Brenspeed, Bama, VMP, Evolution) sell combo packages and provide excellent tunes. Feel free to call any of them and ask questions. Lots of info if you use the Search feature here, also.

stay away from RPMoutlet, just like everyone else said (only trying to emphasize it further). They take a very long time to ship and sometimes even mess up the order. (in my case...) JLT and C&L seems to be the most popular intakes. I am not sure if Bama sells intakes, but if they do, I would trust them or Brenspeed for the intake (as well as a tune).
