Default ? for People with Whipple HO and Aeroforce Gauge

Does anyone get MISFIRES logged in thier aeroforce gauge?

I have been monitoring IAT and coolant temp with the gauge since install and saw nothing out of the ordinary. This past weekend I was on the highway and bored so I started scrolling through the gauge looking at the data. When I got to MISFIRES I had 8 logged.

So I have started to look at that parameter all the time and I get some everytime I drive the car. They dont normally happen at WOT but moreso in part throttle.

Is this normal? The car is running fine and not throwing any codes.

My first thought was bad gas, but since WOT is fine, I dont know if that makes sense.

Any input is appreciated.

I didn't think the misfire parameter was functional on our cars. In all the online instruction manuals it says not supported on ford vehicles.

Well it counts something , I can watch it go up. If it is a false signal then I am happy.

also, i would think that a trouble code (P0301 - 308)
would show up too, if it were real

You can email aeroforce, but i'm pretty sure it doesn't work for us.

Wonder what it is counting then. Does yours read anything?

Hammer - Yeah that is what I figured, as the car seems to be running fine, pulls hard in all the gears etc, but I cant help but get a little freaked out. The whipple tune is crazy conservative so I couldnt see it being that.

I guess I will email aeroforce and see what they say thanks guys.

I would still be interested if anyone else with a s/c and the gauge gets any misfires logged in the gauge.

Thanks,

If that's real, check those plug gaps!
