Default Aeroforce gauge owners, question?

What is your long term fuel trim values at idle on a warm engine? I was checking mine today after reading up on fuel trims and what they mean. both bank 1 and bank 2 show +8. I'm not sure if that's normal for my car with the whipple tune or maybe I have a slight vacuum leak at idle.

Thanks.

What is the code for that.

LT Fuel or something?

If you ever want to meet half way we can compare values in person.

I dont know if I am being a hypocondiac or not but I swear my clutch is slipping in 2nd and 3rd.

the code? I don't know. there is short term and long term fuel trim values display for both b1 and b2. It's abbreviated on the gauge obviously. Today with a hot engine my long term fuel trim was 10.9. I got to go out there and check my intake manifold for a vacuum leak. Also going to check the catch can.

If I get my clutch put in without any trouble, then i'll meet you somewhere. I need to break it in anyway. I should be starting the install on the 19th.

I'm pretty sure my clutch would slip in 1st gear with the drag radials. With the 8psi pulley I recorded my rpms and mph to see if the clutch was slipping in 3rd gear. I had felt it slipping with the 10psi pulley. I could not see any noticeable slip based on the recorded values using a rpm calculator online. Try recording the mph and rpms and plug them into this calculator along with the gear ratio and tire size.

yeah my car only has 14k miles on it and I am not abusive but I do like to get into the boost fairly often. Probably in my head.

I think my lack of traction makes me feel slower than I am, since first and second at WOT is useless, I have to wait for 3rd to open it up and by then the gearing makes you loose that big accel feeling.

Man I need wheels oh well.

Yeah let me know when ever. You installing your own clutch? Which one did you get again?

I think I am going to get the Mcloed twin disc. Overkill I know but people seem to love them. Probably keep the stock flywheel.

I have the spec stage 2, not to be confused with the 2+. I'm doing it myself and had to buy a transmission jack because no one loans them out around here. Paid $59 for one from harbor freight tools. Hopefully the jack will make getting the trans in and out a breeze.

By the way, it might be perfectly normal for the pcm to add some fuel at idle with the engine hot. That's why I was asking for others numbers. I'm sure my head temps were in the 200's when it showed +10.9. I'll go out and start it in a few and see what it reads.
