HELP: DIY Saleen Supercharger Install

RE: HELP: DIY Saleen Supercharger Install
Dang, I am still waiting for the Saleen S/C to ship out from Underground Motors on the East Coast.
I recieved my Moroso Oil Separator and the Brenspeed S/C stage III upgrade kit.
I painted the Oil Separator black and the hose line clamps yellow (to match my car). I also painted the Steeda CAI heat shield black (it came as a a crappy white with generic print on it).
I will post pics of my install/work if someone can explaint how to have them show up in the thread.
I also intend on painting my valve covers, throttle body and fuel rails.
When will my f'in s/c arrive. Waiting sucks.

Yup, they said there were a couple parts missing. I asked them which ones and they weren't sure as the tech department (JDM?) would have that info.
So once they get the parts, it gets shipped.

You did NOT paint the white stuff with print, did you really?? That's just a plastic coating that's on the parts from when they cut them, it peels right off, and there's the regular stainless lookin stuff underneath it.

The whole point of this thread is to seek help from fellow forum readers in installing my set up. I DID paint over the plastic coating. Looks fine to me. But thank you for making it clear that I am a f*ckin' idiot.
I am still gonna do my best installing everything and am sure I will be proud when all is said and done. For now, my tail is between my legs.

RE: HELP: DIY Saleen Supercharger Install
UPDATE: I git the s/c finally and am 90% done with install.
valve covers, oil separator, fuel rails, and TB painted.
S/c installed (thing ways a ton), oil separator installed, only thing left is water pump power wire, KB bap install, and download tune.
I also painted the brake calipers and replaced my upper strut mounts per the TSB.
It has been a task to say the least.
Took many pics and will explain how and where I screwed up.
My back is sore!
