It's interesting that all you guys have this problem. I have 38k on my 06 and use the AC all the time. It still works great and is as cold as anything I've ever felt, if not colder. Maybe I got lucky.

100degree temps here daily, only took her for a recharge, been doing fine, but when I am on a traffic light or stop, it does not cool well. I am thinking of fabbing up a cooling fan in front of the condenser, maybe that could work...

Could you use a hand held tuner to turn on the cooling fans at a MUCH lower temp? Wouldn't that help pull more air across the condenser?

It's hit upper 80s low 90s here and on the hotter days it takes atleast 5 minutes to get semi cool and I never really get cool enough to take it off the coolest setting and at 3 fan speed.. I had 2 grand ams before this car and they got freezing cold even at 1 fan speed I always had to turn the dial to about 1/2 cool.. I'm very disapointed with the AC. it should be cold within a minute of running and you should have to turn it down a couple of notches or be frozen. atleast thats been my experience with most 2000+ cars besides my own. And we also shouldn't have to take our cars in or recharge them in the first 5 years because of it..
