American sorry to hear about your problem. That seems really weird to me as I cant recall anyone having problems with the FRPP tune.
I am running it with an 8psi pulley and the A/F was almost perfect.
Where are you going for the tune? VMP? That is where I will be going after the clutch. I am worried the stocker will slip on the dyno and I will forfeit my $$ for the tune.
Did you order the tune for 93 octane or 91 octane? I got the 91 octane tune.
Did Jay dyno it for you?
PM Cataclysm, I seem to remember he had a similar problem with a mail order VMP tune. He might have some thoughts.

I ordered the FRPP tune for 93 octane. I asked frpp about using 91 octane tune but they said that it won't make much of a difference, I pretty much think that they were implying that nothing is wrong with their tune and it has to be something else. I'm running the 10 psi pulley. I may have Jay dyno tune it or I may call frpp and see if they will mail me a calibrator with the 91 tune.

I was thinking about the mail order tune from VMP, but I figured for the cost I might as well throw out the few extra $ for a dyno tune. I can't even begin to describe how much I want to just get my car back, looking at the blower on the floor was hard, freaking not being able to drive it after it has already been installed is driving me insane!

I like Jay alot and wouldnt hesitate to go to him for installs, but for dyno tune I would go see Justin @ VMP. Couple extra bucks but I am sure it is worth it. He is very well known around the country for tuning mustangs.
I know it stinks to drop extra money right after that huge purchase but dont skimp now, do it right the first time.
In January I am installing everything in Red in my other post and installing the 10psi pulley and getting a VMP dyno tune.
I am going to ask him for a conservative tune for 91 octane that I could drive across the country on. I like the added comfort of running 93 on a tune for 91. Detontation is FI's greatest enemy. I am happy to leave 15rwhp on the table for the peace of mind.
I am also going to ask for a FL emergency tune if possible. I remember after all the huricanes a couple of years ago I couldnt find any 93 octane gas anywhere in town for my bike. Took 2 weeks for supply to come back. I want a tune that in a true emergency I can run 87 octane.
