I'm not doing any mods that cost over $500 until the car is paid off. Then I can actually afford to save for the big stuff. To me that makes the most financial sense. It seems really foolish to dump thousands into a car that isn't even mine yet. I know people do it.. but it just seems like a real bad idea.

Of course, when I look at a s/c price take that smiley face and multiply it by 100.
However, if my approx calculations are correct, HP/$ for that kooks setup from Brenspeed is about the same HP/$ of FI. Not that knowing this makes the prices any less but still interesting to note.

Usually the argument is that a s/c is the best bang for your buck (HP/$) but I'm finding that to not really be the case for the most part. 95% of the time it all works out to be about the same.
At any rate, that's enough of me derailing my own thread.
