Default Weird bogging/hiccup at high RPMs....

Hey guys,

I drive a 2007 Mustang GT with the mods listed down below.

Recently, in normally 1st gear, but sometimes 2nd. If I floor it from lets say 3000rpm, it will take off very quickly, however, when it hits around 5500rpm, it bogs/hiccups for roughly 1/2-1 second where the rpms act as if I am at the limiter. After 1 second, they shoot up and hit the normal limiter set at 6500. I have had this problem for maybe 3-4 months, but it has gotten worse, with it happening maybe 1 or every 3 WOT passes. It also seems to only happen in first gear.

Things that I have though of... Isnt there some TSB on the fuel pump? I have tried swapping between my cutom 93 and 89 tune (tuned by Performance Dyno) to no avail. I have tried sifferent gas stations as well. Temperature does not seem to make a difference in the bogging, whether the engine be reletively cold/warm. Could it possibly be a fouled plug? My JLT filter is pretty dirty if I am honest, it has 25K miles on it.

I really need your help on trying to fix this issue. It makes the car hard to launch at the track, and is very annoying. Thanks millions in advance

How many miles are on your car? Ever change the fuel filter? Clean the MAF sensor/throttle body? These are places I'd start.

25K miles on your air filter? Clean it! Change the fuel filter if you haven't allready. I changed mine at 12,000 and will again at 27,000.
