1. When considering gear ratios, my friend and fellow Stang owner has a classic line: if you're worried about gas mileage, get a Honda. You're buying the Mustang not as any old daily driver, but to have as a "fun" car. 3.55 = more fun. your gainful employment can spare you the extra $10 a month you'll spend on gas, if that.

2. JMO, but if you get HID main lamps, you have to do the fogs, too or else you'll never want to use the fogs. i have stock lamps all around, and i love the uniformity. if i were ever to do a HID conversion, both the main lamps and the fogs are getting it.

3. i would ask to test drive a glass roof Stang. see how you like it. that's the only sure way to know if it suits you. as others have mentioned, the glass roof price broaches the convertible price. if you're thinking glass roof, maybe go vert?
