07musclestang, sounds like you'll be posting about how you ended up in a ditch or through a fence at some point this winter. I have 37 years of snowbelt driving experience and I DO agree about going out and getting the feel for your car. Even with my SUV, I don't kick it into 4WD unless conditions are absolutely horrid, less I lose my winter driving skills. But pushing it the way you describe for fun and, yeah, you'll be supporting some towing company's annual costs.
+1 on putting one into a fence in bad weather with tcs turned off permanently. needless to say while the 07 i had was in the body shop my tuner changed the tune so that i could turn it off it i wanted to by using the button on the dash. now when it rains the tcs is on. when it is nice out tcs is off. be carefull if your getting your tuner to turn it permanently off. rear ends seems to slide real easy in the rain. lol

If you have the itch to drive in bad weather just go to the garage, sit in the car, and use the power of make believe.

Why would you use your tuner to turn the tcs off when you could use the button. is there any difference?
